Dinner en Fleurie
We arrived at 8:26pm to a quaint little room softly lit and containing 10 tables at most with the last table empty and awaiting our arrival. It felt formal, it was very french. All the couples dining seemed soft spoken and laboured for conversation as our approach and seating seemed to be the mainattraction.
This place was of the slow food movement: meaning be patient, slow down, enjoy your company and savor the food. We did all of that and 4 hours later we were hugging Chantal (the restrauntuer). Broccoli soup, lamb, boullibase seafood stew, vegatable salad FROMAGE, watermelon with zest citron and wine, wine, wine! Gotta ride!
This is me and Chantall Chagney, who by the way is in this month's issue of Saveur magazine as well as her well positioned restaurant Le Cep!
